Shivani Taylor is the primary teacher and director of Shanti Om Yoga Studios. In 1988, she moved into Shoshoni Yoga Retreat and became a full-time yogini.  She lived and studied Yoga & meditation there and at the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram in Colorado for 10 years with
HH Rishi Maha Mandaleshwar Sri Shambhavananda. She became certified to teach Shambhava Yoga in 1991 from the Yoga Institute of Colorado, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. but Shivani has taught well over 10,000 class hours. She arrived in Houston, PA in 1998 and opened the Yoga Studio there. Her life centers around sharing with others the inner strength & contentment she has found through her practice & lifestyle of Yoga

Teresa Babyak says, “Yoga has changed my life! Yoga has not only helped me increase strength and flexibility, but it also has helped me gain a level of peace and centeredness in an otherwise stressful life. I manage a large Oncology practice as my full time job. Over the years, I have joined gyms and bought exercise equipment...and yet, always found an excuse why I couldn't exercise. Yoga, however, is the only thing that I never make excuses for. I always want to go to a class or teach a class. I feel amazing after every class.”  A dedicated yoga practitioner for almost 5 years, Teresa switched over from aerobics which she also enjoyed instructing for a long time. She took the Yoga Sub-teacher training, and has since progressed to her own class in this new yoga studio.  “Shivani has given me this wonderful opportunity to share my love of yoga with others, and for that I am eternally grateful. Namaste.”
She also teaches yoga after-hours at the hospital to the delight of her collegues...and has another part-time business baking treats for order - ask her about Teresa’s Treats.
